A piercer at work in a Perfect Image studio.

No appointment.
But there is one rule.

How old are you?

Perfect Image pierces on a walk-in basis at all 6 studios.

Age decides what they can do, and what you need to bring. Pick one and the list below answers for you.

The 17 they do

Every name and description below is Perfect Image's own, in their words. 11 carry a healing time they have published; 6 do not.

Where the healing times come from. Perfect Image publishes two figures — “Earlobes typically heal in 6-8 weeks, while cartilage and body piercings may take 3-6 months or longer.” A placement shows a figure only where their own description puts it in one of those two categories. The other 6 show a dash rather than a number borrowed from somewhere else.

Their rooms, their photographs

Then four things, in this order

Their aftercare, unedited. The order is theirs too.

  1. 1

    Clean it twice a day

Gently cleanse the area twice daily with a sterile saline solution, essential for preventing infections.

  2. 2

    Stop touching it

Minimize touching the piercing to avoid irritation — super important for nipple or nose piercings, and a good guideline for all of them.

  3. 3

    Watch for infection

Unusual redness, swelling or discharge. Consult one of our piercers if symptoms arise. Do not remove the jewellery.

  4. 4

    Ease off the activity

Limit anything that stresses the area, especially with an oral piercing or an active lifestyle.

Never Alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. Both irritate the piercing and slow the healing. They recommend NeilMed saline and Cetaphil by name.
